One of the more common techniques people use when learning how to solve sudoku puzzles is what is called
the xwing strategy. Spotting an xwing is relatively easy to do, but this strategy can be a bit more complex
to understand than many of the others. The trick with this technique is to practice it over and over until you get it becomes swecond nature. Playing sodoko like many other activities takes a lot of time and dedication.

An xwing is are when you are faced with two lines that have the same possible positions for a
candidate Try and think of a it in the terms of what would placing the number in this position do to the
other numbers of your puzzle.

If you placed a number in this cell would it force the others out of there rows? Here is a picture of
the xwing below.

While doing your sudoku if you find a row that has the same marks in two spots, as well as in another row that is
adjacent to it then you can eliminate similar possiblities in the columns that pass through those same spots. Practice the xwing on the next several puzzles you solve and you will notice that it goes a far way into helping you complete the puzzle.
